Wheelchair Access is by a road further along on the left off Regent Road. Its a long way round in a chair, cars can access and drive to the top of the hill, which is quite flat.

There is a nice walk up to the Falls of Bruar from here. Steep in places, but well maintained with gravel underfoot and plenty hand-rails where you need them.

The local authorities must have been busy, there are now nice big brown signs beside the A9 showing where it is. 3 big ones heading North, at least 2 heading South. You can’t miss it.

Normal haggis is off-putting to a lot of people. But Vegetarian Haggis is great!

You can get it in any good supermarket or butcher, and enlightened restaurants.

Good suggestion. This is a much shorter walk than going up Arthur’s Seat.

Arthur’s Seat is spectacular, but you need to be fit. Calton Hill is a better option for those of us who don’t get about so well.
